FAQ
Speed Test: FAQ
What powers the speed test?
We use the open-source Google Lighthouse engine; results come from Google PageSpeed Insights first and from Lighthouse on our own server when needed.
Why can the score change between tests?
Server response, network and third-party scripts vary on each load. Looking at the average of several runs is more reliable.
Why is my mobile score lower than desktop?
The mobile test emulates a slow 4G connection and a mid-range phone CPU, so the same page scores lower on mobile.
